Our life is an apprenticeship to the truth, that around every circle another can be drawn; that there is no end in nature, but every end is a beginning.

Back before Forth
Prior to heading out to northeastern Thailand to teach for a year, I headed to the West, to see my parents and siblings. In the case of the former, it was to take some time to more fully explain why I am going and where I am, at 51. The first photo is of my mother and father, the other one of my older sister and I, and finally there is my beloved brother Chris, out training his new falcon, Felix in Wyoming. After ten days I am reminded of how much I owe all these people, and how crucial they are to my life.

That looks a lot like Nebraska in the distance. Does the falcon ever fly over Lincoln?
ReplyDeleteNo.
ReplyDeleteProbably more of an Omaha bird, anyway.
