Our life is an apprenticeship to the truth, that around every circle another can be drawn; that there is no end in nature, but every end is a beginning.

Stormy Weather
On our way walking to the night market, which I will post about in my next post, these impressive clouds loomed over the rice fields. They later down poured on us as we ran for home. I am excited about seeing just how they harvest all these acres of fields by hand with those little hand scythes I was trying out in the earlier post.

Hard to believe that there is little birdlife in such a lush landscape as that.
ReplyDeleteSomeone told me they were wiped out in the war and also through eating, but it is really hard for me to believe too. There is plenty of bug life to feed on and the geckos and frogs are abundant. Once in a while we see a small flock, but hardly any bird noise, which I miss.
